My first day in the water today as safety diver was a pleasure since we could see people down to 30 meters and the water was 28 degrees.
Most competitors came out to this pre-competition diving day and all systems worked well. The platform built by Esteban, worked flawlessly and held up fine when we at one point had 12 people on it.
I am looking forward to the official competition warm-ups starting tomorrow and the competition starting on May 23rd.
We are staying at Infinity Bay with my family, two other safety divers and a competitor. One suite is big enough for all of us and we only have a quick 5 min boat ride to the platform. Beautiful island and a great resort. This is looking like we will have a great competition.
